Adult Bible Study Care Group Leader
Purpose of Position
The
Care Group Leaders are the primary weekly contact and shepherding touch to
Sunday School class members.
Tasks /Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 |
Be
a personal example of a caring, growing Christian. |
|
Develop
relationships with your Care Group members. |
|
Work
with your Care Group Coordinator to maintain a list of 4-7 individuals
or couples who constitute your care group. |
REGULAR
TASKS:
|
Make
a weekly contact with your care group by phone, card or personal
visit.
Ask for prayer requests and relay information about the class
or church events as necessary. |
| Complete a Membership Biography on each person in your group in order to familiarize yourself with the family and remember special dates (birthday & anniversary), send cards, etc |

Weekly:
One hour class time; two hours a week outside of class for making
contacts. |

Other:
Monthly leadership meeting only if asked to attend (1-hour Wed.
evening); leadership training in fall (2 hours one evening). |
